Speaking about low output, when did Nicole Hannah Jones have an article / opinion piece in the NYT? 1619 was four years ago. Are they paying her to tweet?
I've thought for a long time that she's now a figurehead. I am sure she makes appearances and speaks about 1619. As controversial as it is for some people, it was quite splashy; won the Times awards and, if I am not mistaken, a MacArthur fellowship. She is a feather in their cap whether she writes or not
